Candy Mint-Topped Brownies

1 (21 ½-oz.) package Pillsbury Fudge Brownie Mix
½ cup water
½ cup oil
1 teaspoon mint extract
1 egg
1 (6-oz.) package foil-wrapped rectangular chocolate mints, unwrapped

Heat oven to 350º F. Grease 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine brownie mix, water, oil, mint extract and egg; beat 50 strokes by hand. Spread in greased pan.

Bake at 350º F for 28 to 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Immediately arrange chocolate mints evenly over brownies. Let stand 5 minutes or until mints are softened. Using knife or spatula, spread gently, swirling chocolate mints slightly. Cool completely; cut into bars. 36 bars.
